Pre-Submission Draft (March 2015)

Consultation for the Pre-Submission Draft of Tarset and Greystead Neighbourhood Development Plan

*** This pre-submission draft has been superseded by the Submission Draft (June 2015) ***

We are pleased to announce the Pre-Submission Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan for Tarset and Greystead has been completed. In producing this Draft Plan we have tried to ensure that it truly reflects the wishes of the Community. We have listened carefully to all of the concerns and comments passed to us in the various consultations. Wherever possible these are reflected in the Plan, although we have also had to take existing national and local planning policy into account when preparing the document.

We are now at a consultation stage where we would like to ask for your thoughts on the Draft Plan as it presently stands. Please take time to read the Draft Plan and to complete the Response Form, giving your thoughts on each of the Policies proposed and your overall opinion of the document.

The pre-submission draft plan and supporting documents are available to download below. There is also an opportunity to view the Plan and to ask any questions on Wednesday 25th March 2015 at the Village Hall, 7.30 – 9.00 p.m. There will be brief presentation at 8.00pm. Refreshments will be available.

Printed copies of the Draft Plan can be viewed at:

  • Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF
  • Tarset Village Hall, Lanehead, Northumberland, NE48 1NT
  • Northumberland National Park Offices, Hexham, NE46 1BS

Once consultation responses are received, the Plan will be amended and submitted to the Local Planning Authorities for the final consultation phase before being examined and then voted on at referendum. This is your last opportunity to contribute to the Plan.
