The Green Fingers Gardening Group is a community organisation, for the community, run by the community. It organises a busy programme of gardening-related activities through the full year that would be a challenge for much larger groups to organise.
Activities include a seed planting day in early spring, a local garden walk in early summer, visits to nearby professional gardens, talks, demonstrations, pumpkin carving, and an outdoor BBQ. An up-to-date listing of future activities is available on the community events page.
The group worked with the Village Hall to plan, plant and decorate the new Village Hall Garden. and with the Parish Council, to help plant and maintain the Allotment Orchard.
