Falstone
The pretty conservation village of Falstone is situated just below the Kielder Dam in the North Tyne valley. The North Tyne WI hold their meetings in Falstone and St Peter's Church is located here. Every august, the important Falstone Border Shepherds Show attracts people from the whole of the upper North Tyne.
Falstone's post office is almost as close for Tarset residents as the one in Bellingham and the Northumberland National Park's Falstone Old School tea room and village shop opposite the Blackcock Inn:
