Tarset Farmers Ltd are a group of farmers in the Tarset area, who set up their company with the assistance of Tarset 2050 CIC, Tim Bell, NNPA's Farming and Rural Enterprise officer, and Doug Gray, regional manager of English Food and Farming Partnerships.
They committed to work together to try to improve their future as hill farmers, and have recently run several pilot projects selling their hill lamb to local households.

The current aim is to market that Tarset lamb to a wider clientele through direct sales.
Waste minimisation, re-use and recycling
A recent success was the polythene recycling project, where local farmers collect together waste baling polythene for centralised recycling.
Farmers are also participating in the oil and diesel purchasing group which is reducing the number of oil delivery vehicle journeys.
