Room hire

The Village Hall was sympathetically refurbished recently (completed in the summer of 2006) through a number of grants from wide range of generous organisations and as part of the refurbishment the hall can cater for people with disabilities.  Please read the example hire agreements:

The following charges apply for hire of rooms and facilities at the Village Hall:

Main hall

• per hour £7               
• Half day (9 – 1)(1- 5) £21               
• Full day (9 – 5)  £40                           
• Full evening (5 – 1) £50               
• Set up charges at hall’s discretion               

Meeting room

• per hour £5               
• Half day £12               
• Full day £22               
• Full evening £22                            
• Set up charges at hall’s discretion

Whole hall

• per hour £10                                          
• Half day £30               
• Full day £55               
• Full evening £60               
• Set up charges at hall’s discretion

Kitchen

• For coffee etc free                 
• For cooking £10               

Bar

• Hall bar free               
• Own bar £10               

Reduced fees for regular community group users

• Community groups who use the hall regularly throughout the year will be entitled to a discount:  one free booking in every 8 in any one year, september to september.

Hire / loan of crockery, furniture etc    

• £10 min donation
