Parish Flag Competition
The Parish Council has launched a competition to design a parish flag that has some significance for Tarset and Greystead and the surrounding area, and to award a 50 Guineas prize
Competition rules and how to enter:
- The competition is open to anyone who is resident or has business within the Parish.
- The winning design should reflect Tarset and Greystead's heritage, its community, and its future.
- The closing date is Friday, 10th May, 2012, and the results will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Council on Wednesday, 16th May, 2012.
- A4 size entries with the entrant's name and contact details on the reverse are to be submitted to the Chairman of the Council at 2, High Green, Tarset NE48 1RP (Telephone: 240405).
- The decision of the judging panel (to be confirmed) will be final.
- The winner will be announced in Tarset News.
The winning design will be made up into a flag to be displayed throughout the Parish and flown on special occasions on the flagpole within the parish orchard.
